Shenzhen Waterlands Resort (Hereinafter as the Resort), is located in Shajing, Bao’an District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. It was funded and constructed by Shenzhen Municipal Government and Bao’an District Government. The Resort started construction in January 1999, and got open to the public on September 29, 2001. Now it covers an area of 1.63 million m2, and is run by Shenzhen Waterlands Resort Tourism Development Co., Ltd., who is a wholly owned subsidiary to Shenzhen Bao’an Construction and Investment Co., Ltd.
